Prologue

A woman sat lifelessly at the bus stop, her mind a fog of confusion and despair. Her husband and family had cast her aside like an unwanted fly, leaving her adrift without a destination. She felt as if she were a ghost in her own life, trapped in roles she no longer recognized: wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister. She had poured her heart into caring for others, yet their response had been cold, rife with mistrust.

They labeled her a gold digger, a woman of questionable character, and treated her with disdain. Even now, as she bore the weight of impending motherhood, their cruelty persisted, a heavy cloak she could not shake off. She had always prioritized their happiness, yet in this relentless pursuit, she had lost herself entirely.

Where was she in all of this?

She knew she had to find herself again, to reclaim her identity in a world that felt unbearably harsh. But could she do it? Could she summon the strength to survive? Could she provide her child with the love, clothes, and nourishment it deserved?

As she pondered these questions, her heart ached for a flicker of hope. Would she uncover her true self amidst the chaos?

I really wanna be independent because I feel like depending on parents makes me feels so suffocating and I don't wanna be burden on them for small things. Also I wanna buy my mom and dad there wedding gifts too.
